The Brief

Our international client asked us to produce an engaging two-day Directors conference with state-of-the art AV set.

The client requested an event space that allowed for open networking, areas for guests to engage with the content delivered and outdoor space that could be multifunctional.

Destination

Considering all necessary factors – including ease of travel for international guests and a contemporary and malleable space, we landed on the Amsterdam Passenger Terminal.

As a dry-hire venue, we had the opportunity to completely mould the space to the client and create the extraordinary.

Challenges

Initially, when conducting the search, we had to take a lot of care considering the multifunctional capability of venues ensuring that we could exceed every single expectation of the client.

Due to the multifaceted nature of the event, we had to contend with an extensive supplier network and ensure that all elements delivered were of the highest quality.

Delivery

Behind the scenes, we worked hard to produce an efficient, crystal-clear and stylish technical set which ensured the conference ran seamlessly. Our design throughout the venue contributed to creating a warm, inviting and professional environment.

We tailored event elements to suit the key theme of the event, ‘networking’. A integral part of the success of this event was introducing The Event App. This allowed for straightforward co-ordination of all delegates and proved to be an accessible form of communication. Through the app, guests were able to access ‘housekeeping’ information without needing to sacrifice valuable time chasing paper agendas or points of contact.
