The Brief

Our client wanted to host a networking dinner for their Senior Directors in a well connected venue that would WOW and provide a comfortable environment for networking.

The menu needed to exceed culinary expectations and guarantee this was a dinner to remember. It was key to ensure that catering and beverage options complimented each other well, and matched the tone of the event.

Destination

Selecting a location with unrivalled transport links was key, and Amsterdam provided the perfect solution. Proving to be one of Europe’s central hubs, we could ensure that International Guests could access the venue by foot, plane, train and automobile.

Adjacent to the IJ River, the Muziekgebouw, sits at only a 10-minute walk from Centraal Station, easily connecting the venue to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The Muziekgebouw opened its doors in 2005 and serves the Netherlands as the focal concert hall for contemporary classical music.

Challenges

Whilst the Muziekgebouw hit the mark with WOW Factor, this did mean having to source an external caterer who could deliver a premium dining menu that would feel comfortable serving from a kitchen build.

Solution

We managed to source a five-star caterer that had experience producing exceptional quality food and service in unique and unconventional venues. Establishing a vibrant menu that championed local produce guaranteed guests were satisfied and could focus on the goals of the event.

Delivery

Our team of experienced AV professionals partnered with the in-house team at the Muziekgebouw to create a technical production set that left nothing up to chance. Ensuring seamless AV production to accompany the dinner came as second nature to us, and provided an extra layer of reassurance for the client.
